What happened
EE was moving a cart of glass into the department when their right forearm struck a piece of glass on a neighboring cart (the EE was not wearing their cut sleeves). The EE was taken to the first aid [REDACTED] where the wound was cleaned and bandaged. The laceration was large enough to warrant outside medical attention. The EE reported to the emergency department where the wound was evaluated and sutures were applied making this a OSHA recordable incident. The employee was released and able to return to work the same day with no restrictions and no lost time.
