Working on the glass line intercept attempting to remove jammed material

The maintenance employee was working at the intercept in the glass department trying to remove some jammed aluminum spacer material from the machine. The employee took hold of the material with their hands and began to pull towards themselves using force. As the material broke free from the machine the end whipped back at the employee and struck them on the left side of the cheek leaving a small laceration.
