What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in the picking process path reported experiencing level 7 pain in their right pinky finger after a box fell on it. The associate was working at location M-11-30-03-01 and stated that the incident occurred while transferring an item onto their cart. During this process the item slipped from their hand. In an attempt to catch the falling item the associate’s pinky finger was caught between the item and the pick cart resulting in the reported injury.;After reporting the injury the associate was unable to return to their process path. The associate required outside medical attention.;During the investigation it was determined that the associate completed the Picking Process Path SOP training on [REDACTED].
