What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Seasonal associate working in Bulk Putaway reported 8 10 pain in the back of right hand due to hitting it against the beam. The associate was working at location C10480103 and reported that they had parked their OP with the cart attached directly across from the racking to allow sufficient space for placing long rugs into the bin. While placing a long rug (Item #: BX11144.57602450) into the racking the associate turned to the right to retrieve additional items from the cart. During this motion their right hand struck the rack beam causing immediate tingling and pain. The associate rated the pain at 8 out of 10 at the time of the incident which remained unchanged after treatment. They reported an inability to fully open their hand without experiencing a sharp shocking pain extending from the back of the hand to the palm.
