What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate reported a level 4 pain level in their right bicep. According to the associate they were loading a flat pallet in a trailer at dock door 203. When attempting to lift up the pallet and stage it against the wall to be strapped the associate felt a pop in their right bicep. After reporting the injury the associate did not return to work and decided to leave at the end of shift. During the investigation the site found the associate was hired on [REDACTED] and is currently up to date on all necessary training. The pallet the associate was loading dimensions were 60” x 80” x 36” and weighed 80kg. The associate was working in a process path that does not require job rotation. The associate has been working in the loading process for approximately 4 months. The investigation identified the associate was wearing their proper ppe at the time of the incident and was found to be following Wayfair 's safety protocol. The associate
