What happened

On [REDACTED] at a Wayfair associate working in Bulk Putaway reported 8 pain in their left hand thumb due to hitting rack and steering ball hitting hand. The associate was working at the Inbound side going into [REDACTED] and stated they drove in and wire guide didn 't lock. Then hit an obstacle causing the steering wheel to push into hand they where holding the knob. After reporting their injury the associate was not able to return to their process path and was sent out to see Corvel. Associate reported an 8 pain and said they felt their hand was fractured. During the investigation the site found that the associate was hired on [REDACTED] completed OP training on [REDACTED] and IS IS NOT currently up-to-date on OP operation training. During the investigation it seemed the associate came off the lift and then went back on and did not see to ever hook onto wire guide.
