Lifting boxes while unloading trailer

On [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate reported a level 9 pain in their back from unloading over time. The associate stated they were lifting 115-120lb boxes however believes it is overtime from unloading occurrence over weeks of unloading. After reporting the injury the associate was not able to return to unloading and chose to utilize time to go home. The associate denied medical treatment. During the investigation the site found the associate is currently up to date on all necessary training. The associate was working in a process that does not require job rotation. The associate has been working in the unloading process for approximately 7 months. The investigation identified the associate was wearing their proper PPE at the time of the incident and was found to be following Wayfair safety protocols. The associate has been working mandatory overtime. No environmental factors played a role in this incident.
