On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a WAYFAIR ASSOCIATE working in inbound reported an injury due to being struck in the head by falling freight. The associate states that while working at dock door 322 and while they were braking down a pallet they were struck in the back of the head when another associate removed a box located on the opposite side of the same pallet they were working on; with a pain scale of 6 out of 10 at the time of the incident. During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred when they were breaking down a pallet of [REDACTED] while placing a box on on their dolly two large flats containing a headboard and footboard weighing approx. 89.28 lbs fell over when another associate ripped off the tape that was holding the freight together causing the large flats to fall over.
