The Outfitter was cutting towards herself when the knife slipped and struck her left hand causing a 1-inch laceration on the palm of her hand near the base of the thumb (Thenar Eminence). First-Aid was provided to control the bleeding. [REDACTED] was contacted and recommended she seek treatment. She was sent to Macon Occupational Medicine for treatment.
