Moving a cart of bracing
What happened
[REDACTED] was moving a cart of bracing back in [REDACTED] 's work area. She had her hand on the pole that was inserted into the pocket on the bracing cart. As she pulled the cart (which was positioned in north south direction) backwards to move it. She caught her index finger knuckle on a skirt that was on a skirt cart (which was positioned in a East West direction) that was overhanging over the braceline cart. [REDACTED] caught her knuckle right on the end of the skirt flange that was located at close proximity to where the pole was and her hand placement was.
Injury or illness
Right Index finger top of joint. Laceration was 2cm wide and approx. a 1 4 of cm deep. She was treated by the Health Bar nurse. Process of treatment was as follows. 1. Under pressure rinse. 2. Under pressure peroxide clean. 3. Iodine wipe. 4. Closex to seal the wound. 5. Tracy returned to the shop floor. On August 27 2025 Tracy reported that she had visited the doctor on 8-26-2025 because she was concerned about a cut and wasn 't feeling well. The doctor prescribed antibiotics to treat a possible infection.
