Before the incident
Retrieving tools out of the open top of the toolbox
What happened
EE was working inside the South trim unit cell when the walked West to exit the cell. The EEs toolbox was place within three feet of the cell gate. The toolbox lid was open and EE leaned on the toolbox and removed their safety glasses. EE removed their safety glasses as they reached for something out of the top of the open tool box. As EE was leaning on the toolbox the lid closed and hit EE on the bridge of nose. A fan mounted on the column directly North of the toolbox was blowing towards the open lid. EE immediately communicated incident to closest group lead. Applied rag to nose for bleeding EE was taken to ER for examination.
