On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in unloading path in Receiving sustained an injury to the right foot’s big toe due to nail from a pallet puncturing big toe area. The associate states that they were working on the JBHunt trailer [REDACTED] in [REDACTED] when the incident occurred. The associate was hired on [REDACTED] and states that they decided to move a pallet closer to the other pallets when the associate dropped the pallet on top of their right foot. As the pallet was dropped it had an exposed nail that went thru their shoe and punctured the big toe right above the toe nail and the cuticle. The associate reported the injury on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. The associate reports that their initial pain level at the time of the injury (TOI) was 4 10.
