What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in [REDACTED] Mile sustained an injury to the right shin due to a cut from a box cutter. The associate states that they were working in red stage dropping of a damaged item when they attempted to cut the strap off the box with a box cutter when the cutter slipped past the box and cut their leg. The cutter that the associate was using had no blade guard attached and the associate didn 't notice it until after the fact.. The associate was hired on [REDACTED] and states they were dropping off damaged items in the red stage area at the time of the incident. The associate reported the injury on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. The associate reports that their initial pain level at the time of the injury (TOI) was a 0 10.
