What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in small parcel picking sustained an injury to the left ankle and foot due to a box that slipped while pulling the item from the racking. The associate states that they were working near R18821402 when the injury occurred. When the associate went to pull the item from location the box slipped from the associate’s hands and fell on their left foot. The associate reported the injury on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. The associate reports that their initial pain level at the time of the injury (TOI) was a 3 10. Upon notification of the injury the associate declined first aid on-site but accepted to call the nurse line for further treatment. During the investigation the site found the did not know the approximate weight or size of the item and stated that it too heavy and bulky for the associate to lift.
