What happened

On [REDACTED] an employee was observed wearing a wrist brace by a member of Leadership. When questioned employee stated they started to feel pain in their left wrist the [REDACTED] and sought treatment where they were prescribed a wrist brace. They initially felt pain in the left wrist on [REDACTED] when picking apparel items. Employee stated the pain began in the thumb and radiated into the wrist up into the arm. They reported the pain was causing them to drop items due to decreased gripping ROM. When asked why they didn 't initially report this pain they stated they originally thought they must have struck their thumb against something and didn 't think anything of it. When the pain did not go away they decided to seek treatment. Employee was trained on the Injury Reporting awareness training on [REDACTED]. When further questioned about failing to report their injury within 24 hours the employee stated they thought the 24 hours was a deadline meaning that they thought they were unabl
