What happened

On [REDACTED] a TS employee reported feeling back pain while working in Retail. The employee was assisting a member of Leadership with a new crate (called a coffin crate) so it could be unloaded from a trailer. Due to the size of the crate the injured employee and FM used a team-lift to avoid injury while unloading. There were 3 crates all stacked on top of each other and were placed in a staging area. Two of the crates were unloaded with some issues from the handles. While stacking the third crate the employees ' hand started to slip and when the employee attempted to adjust their grasp they bumped the other crate with his elbow resulting in a body shift jolt. During the investigation it was identified that the crate 's dimensions were approximately 24 x 24 x 60 and the loaded crate weighed an estimated 700 pounds.
