What happened

On [REDACTED] a TS employee reported feeling pain in their lower back. The employee was working in Case Pick for ICA Retail when they felt a pop in their lower back. Due to the pain the employee called out for help and a member of Leadership was able to transport the employee to another location using the wheelchair. During the investigation the employee stated that they retrieved a case from the lowest level bin location and sat it down and stood back up. The employee reported that when they tried to stand back up they felt a pop or snap in the lower back region while they were using the racking to help them stand back up. The case the employee was lifting weighed an estimated 26 pounds. The employee began their shift at [REDACTED] and the injury occurred at approximately [REDACTED]. The employee stated that their side gate was raised so they had plenty of space to retrieve the case and bent at the knees to place the case onto their pallet (an estimated 7 cases were on the pallet and
