What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in receiving unloading reported 8 10 pain in their right knee due to tripping over a dock plate. The associate was working at [REDACTED] and stated they had a cart inside of the trailer down stacking boxes onto the cart. The associate was unloading load [REDACTED] which was loaded with a hole in the floor of the trailer. The hole was identified by the associates supervisor during the TLC process. A mini dock plate was placed over the hole to prevent associates from potentially rolling their ankle by stepping on the hole. While the associate was placing boxes onto the cart the associate stated they tripped over the plate that was covering the hole in the trailer floor. This caused the associate to fall forward putting all of their body weight on their right knee which caused their knee to hyperextend.
