What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a Wayfair associate working in Outbound Bulk reported a 4 10 pain in their right shoulder due to force absorbed from the impact of another PIV equipment. The associate was working in [REDACTED] at the time of incident while in Bulk Picking process path. The incident was a result of another associate tasked in the same process path while driving down the same aisle colliding with the idle PIV while it was at an elevated level. The force from the impact knocked the equipment out of wire guidance alignment resulting in the associate being jerked forward then backwards. During the investigation the site found that the associate was hired on [REDACTED] completed Bulk Picking training on [REDACTED] and IS currently up-to-date on Bulk Picking training. The associate WAS working in a process path that requires job rotation and the investigation determined the job rotation WAS being followed.
