What happened

On [REDACTED] a TS employee reported pain in the left thumb to a member of Leadership. The employee stated their pain initially began on around [REDACTED] [REDACTED] while working in [REDACTED] cart building. The employee stated they jammed their left thumb when placing a full case of product onto the staging pallet. During the investigation it was identified that the employee failed to immediately report their injury because they did not think it was that bad. However pain continued to increase over a period of 2 weeks which resulted in the employee reporting their injury. The employee reported that just before lunch they jammed their left thumb when placing a case on the putaway pallet. However the employee was unable to demonstrate the exact motion but stated they had been working a lot and believed they must have been tired which resulted in possibly causing the jam from the way they placed the case on the stack.
