The associate was cutting shrink wrap from the pallets.

What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a WAYFAIR ASSOCIATE working in receiving reported an injury due to being struck by two boxes. The associate states that while working at dock 318 cutting shrink wrap off pallets to remove boxes from the pallet two heavy boxes fell off the pallet on their right arm and right ; with a pain scale of 8 out of 10. During the investigation the site found that the injury occurred while the associate was cutting shrink wrap from the smaller pallets to help palletize them on the standard pallets. During this time they cut the shrink wrap from the pallets causing the two heavy boxes to fall on the associate. After the injury occurred the associate called for another associate to get my attention. The associate was sitting on the floor holding their arm and rubbing their leg.
