Cutting a beveled edge for elevator car floor protection
What happened
A [REDACTED] carpenter was making a beveled cut on a piece of plywood to be used for floor protection in one of the passenger elevators. As he went to cut backwards with the skill saw to finish the skill saw got bound up and jumped forward causing the blade to strike his left middle finger resulting in a laceration. The worker was sent out for treatment and received stitches. He was written back to full duty.
