Team member was moving material from a pallet to a wheeled table.

Team member moved 8 heavy metal plates one by one from a pallet on the floor to a wheeled table nearby which was at a higher level. These metal plates are heavy and should have not been carried by one person. Per team member 's statement he was feeling well right after but later in the day his back started to hurt from the weight he lifted. His left thumb also started to hurt since he placed too much weight on it while lifting the plates. Team member did not notify anyone the same day. He reported his back and finger pain when he came back to work on [REDACTED] [REDACTED].
