What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] an incident occurred involving an employee hired . The employee was working in the Receiving department at the time of the incident which occurred on the receiving Dock. The injury affected the big toe on the right side. The employee stated: I was grabbing a pallet off a stack and tip of the pallet hit my big toe. While finishing my live load to break down the boxes off another full pallet. CorVel was called. The employee was not able to return to normal duties due to receiving an open toe shoe. The employee was injured on the previous shift and did not locate a leader to report the injury to so they decided to go home. While at home the employee felt their pain increase and decided to go to the local emergency room for treatment. Upon reporting the injury to management the employee was asked to come into the branch for completing a report.
