What happened
EE was removing a scrap ring from the middle trim unit with their right hand When they went to pull it out it was caught on the spindle and sprung back with the sharp point hitting the forearm about 3inch up from the wrist The point drove into the arm about 2inch deep EE immediately pulled the scrap ring from their arm EE got help from a maintenance tech and found the weldline [REDACTED] Shift [REDACTED] The puncture was not bleeding so we cleaned it and bandaged it EE was taken to ER since the puncture was deep EE was wearing gloves kevlar leather palm and arm guards Superior gloves KP1T
