at approximately [REDACTED] EE was operating the [REDACTED] of 1st Test [REDACTED] facing due East EE removed the high pressure air hose from the 1 spud air hose connector The hoses air pressure made the hose whiplash due north EEs left ring finger was caught between the north left opening door frame and the metal connector at the end of the hose EE has difficulty bending their left ring finger EE was given a cold pack told to apply the cold pack to their finger and take a rest in the break room EE was moved to a lighter duty station for the rest of the shift EE was asked if they needed to go to the hospital or doctor they said no Approximately [REDACTED] EE returned and stated that they could not bend their finger and the swelling was getting worse We call the Arch Triage nurse who recommended x rays Employee was taken to the ER for treatment
