Before the incident
Employee was attempting to clear a meltdown in the oven.
What happened
Machine operator was responding to a meltdown that occurred in the oven on line #3. With the ladder positioned sideways and standing on the 2nd step of a 3 step ladder employee began to use the designated tool to pry the foam off the screen. As employee was applying more force to clear the meltdown stuck to the screen they lost their balance and placed their arm on the chain rail guard to stop the fall causing a burn to the right forearm. EHS department was notified by employee on [REDACTED] that incident occurred when they took employee to clinic for medical evaluation.
