Pushing a bag of wine in a tanker

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] an employee working in the cellar reported an injury in their lower back due to feeling a pop in their back after pushing a bag of wine. The employee was working in a tanker with two other team members at the cellar dock door and stated they were attempting to push a bag of wine to assist in emptying the bag when they felt a sudden pop in their lower back. The employee stated that the environment they were working in was normal and dry. The employee is qualified to perform the operation and has been trained on the process. The employee was using the appropriate tools for this process. During the investigation it was discovered that the employee was following the appropriate safety procedures which included wearing the appropriate PPE and performing their job as trained. Their supervisor was providing proper supervision and this process is not new. The employee was offered first aid care which they accepted. The employee was referred to medical
