Drilling a larger hole in extruded aluminum

An Employee was drilling a hole in extruded aluminum that was already drilled to make it accommodate a larger bold. The employee was drilling at face level. The piece of extruded aluminum was not properly secured and the drill bit caught the piece of extruded aluminum causing it to spin around on the drill and strike the employee in the face. First Aid was given for a ¾” to 1” deep laceration to his right chin lip area.
