Teammate was opening equipment room door to access the roof over the mens locker room to look outside The teammate noticed a part to the lightning system which caused him to look out and investigate As teammate turned to reenter the building his arm was pushed by the force of the door This caused his right index finger to get caught between the door and the door frame The teammate immediately reported to the athletic trainer It was determined the injury needed more care The safety department was called and made the decision to take the teammate to the local ER The teammate received sutures
