What happened

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a TIM employee was performing cleaning activities in the HF maintenance shop when he stopped to help another crew off load tools and equipment from the bed of a golf cart. The employee picked up several items without utilizing hand protection when he felt a prick to the left pinky fingertip. He then looked to see and noticed it was a wire brush. Employee then completed the work cleaned up and left the site for the day. Once at home employee cleaned up then started feeling a burning sensation to tip of finger. He then returned to the site and was treated with calcium gluconate and zephiran soak for a period of time. Employee was released to go home but returned [REDACTED] with increased pain. It was determined that an injection of calcium gluconate was needed. The employee was released to work and has a follow up on [REDACTED].
