Attempting to blow out mandrel from 532-395-032 in manual blowout bay 4.
What happened
Mandrel was not blowing out well and the hose was strung through the trapeze for extraction. The associate thought the vice clamp being too tight was causing the issue so they loosened it a little. Shortly afterward the hose shot up and struck the associate in the right elbow and arm.
Injury or illness
Contusion to the elbow resulted in bruising coupled with sharp pain up the right shoulder. After doctor visit associate was put in arm sling and on restrictions of no lift carry push pull above 10 lbs until re-evaluation on 11 25 2023.
