29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel.    a.  On or about September 7, 2011, in the facility, employees operated a propane powered industrial forktruck that emitted carbon monoxide in excess of the recommended level of 1%:    A Yale, model # GL0050RFNUAE076, serial #EJ87V04796U, truck #53, emitted approximately 2.0 % carbon monoxide.    Inhalation of excessive levels of carbon monoxide can result in headaches, nausea and chemical anoxia.
