29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.     a.  On or about September 29, 2011, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations on a low sloped roof (4:12 or less), twenty-one (21) feet five (5) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.    b.  On or about September 29, 2011, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations on a steep roof (9:12), thirteen (13) feet three (3) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.
