29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Olmedo Roofing at 3354 Hewitt St, Loveland, CO 80538: On and before October 1, 2011, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that four employees installing shingles on a 6-in-12 pitch roof on a one-story residential home were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet. Olmedo Roofing was previously cited for a violation of the same or substantially similar condition of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313414112, Citation Number 1, Item 2, issued on December 7, 2009, and became Final Order on February 5, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 2510 White Wing, Johnstown, CO 80534.
