29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by pinch points: a) On or about February 14, 2012, the timed presence sensing device(s) located inside parts bin on Weld machine (MW44) that was design to protect operator from being caught-in between the air actuated lid closure and the parts bin frame, timed out the closure cycle due a part blanking out presence sensing device, and once the part was removed from blanking field the lid closed down on operators hand.
