Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available.      a) On August 24, 2017 an employee was injured when struck by a 2167 pound (983 kilograms) coil of steel and did not receive adequate first aid treatment, in that in lieu of 911 being called the employer called UBER to transport the employee to the hospital.  It took UBER 31 minutes to transport the employee from the plant to the hospital.  The plant nurse (plant designated trained first aid responder) was not onsite at the time of the injury to render the appropriate first aid and treatment.
