As such two WVM Construction employees were exposed to struck by hazards due to working with no hard hats and fall hazards of nearly 23 feet while installing roof trusses with no form of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Buttonwood Court, Moorestown, NJ: On or about 08/05/2014 the WVM employees working with a crane to install roof trusses were exposed to overhead struck by hazards due to working with no hard hats. WVM Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 966236, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 16 Cedar Grove Rd., Margate City, NJ.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) Buttonwood Court, Moorestown, NJ: On or about 08/05/2014 two WVM Construction employees were conducting framing activities on a large new construction residence. The workers were using the second floor top plate as their walking working surface while installing roof trusses and were using no fall protection. As such they were exposed to a fall hazard of nearly 23 feet. WVM Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 966236, citation number 01, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 16 Cedar Grove Rd., Margate City, NJ.
