Instance 1.    Employees constructing the ridge and rafters on a residential property were not protected from falling, exposing employees to a fall hazard of twelve (12) feet.   Instance 2.    Employees performing residential carpentry operations were not protected from falling to the basement through the floor hole on the first floor, exposing employees to a fall hazard of eight (8) feet nine (9) inches.   A&F CONSTRUCTION CARPENTERS, CORP., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997903, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 316 Park Ave., Saint Charles, IL 60174.  There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
