29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about March 1, 2023 the employer failed to protect workers from falls.  Employees engaged in new residential framing activities at a height in excess of 6 feet.  The employees were not utilizing any fall protection during this activity.  Two employees were engaged in framing activities on the roof rafters on the second level of the new residential dwelling.  Abatement documentation is required for this item per 29 CFR 1903.19(d)

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1)(ii):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:  On or about March 1, 2023 the employer failed to provide railings on the unprotected sides of the stairs that were built in a new construction dwelling. Employees were using the unprotected stairs for access to the upper level while conducting framing activities on the rafters above the second level.   Abatement documentation is required for this item per 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
