29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. On 5/7/2015, an employee from Bastin Roofing, LLC was installing shingles on a roof of a residential building located between 206 & 214 Stephanie Lynn Court, Wentzville, MO. He was not wearing eye protection while using a pneumatic nail gun. Bastin Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 910116, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 6/12/2013, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/02/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 8930 Harrison Ave, St. Louis, MO.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 5/7/2015, an employee from Bastin Roofing, LLC was installing shingles on a roof of a residential building located between 206 & 214 Stephanie Lynn Court, Wentzville, MO. He was not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The employee was observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing him to a fall to the ground below. Bastin Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 910116, citation number 1, item number 2, issued on 6/12/2013, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/02/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 8930 Harrison Ave, St. Louis, MO.
