29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: (a) On or about August 18, 2015, and at times prior, Skytor Building Group, Inc., did not ensure that personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet nor contact any lower level. Employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 6 feet, tied off to 9 feet-high top plates, during framing activities in residential construction. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
