29 CFR 1910.106(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that conspicuous and legible signs prohibiting smoking were posted within sight of the employee being served:       a. On or about Jan 27, 2016, at the fuel dispensing unit, fuel tanks and at the oil collector point where areas where flammables and combustibles materials were located, it was observed that "no-smoking" signs at 360 degrees line of sight were missing. 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1):  Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:      a.    On or about Jan 27, 2016 at several piers, employees were exposed to fire hazards in the vicinity of boats and no fire extinguishers were identied in case of a sudden fire.         b.   On or about Jan 27, 2016 at the maintenance shop, employees were exposed to fire hazards while operating electrical tools next to flammable and combustible materials and no fire extinguishers were identified in case of a sudden fire.         NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item since it was submitted prior to citation issuance.
