29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the Commercial construction site located at 789 Donovan Road, Lees Summit, MO 64086: Employees were exposed to fall hazards when a personal fall arrest system was not provided to employees working above 6 feet on a commercial construction site. Employees were framing a four story apartment building approximately 60 feet above the ground. Neighbors Construction Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1124828, citation number 1 item number b and was affirmed as a final order on March 16, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9565 NW Skyview The Retreat at Tiffany Woods, Kansas City, MO 64154.
