29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. South Course: Corrosive materials (herbicides and growth regulators) are stored in a wooden shed and employees dispense the chemicals from the containers into other containers. There is no suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes in the work area for immediate emergency use exposing employees to eye and skin injuries. Certification, with date and method of abatement required. Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be submitted within (10) calendar days after the abatement date.
