29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels is not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section:    a. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system.    The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 24, 2018, when employees of Florida Roofing Experts, Inc. are working on a residential roof with a 5:12 pitch at 1116 Nochaway Drive, Saint Augustine, Florida, and are exposed to a 13 feet fall hazard to the ground in that they are not attached to a personal fall protection system.    Rogero & Williams Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1137948, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 14, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5185 Datil Pepper Road, Saint Augustine, FL 32086.    Rogero & Williams Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1117352, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 6, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 13635 Mandarin Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223.    Rogero & Williams Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1115692, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on September 6, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 7601 Fawn Lake Drive North, Jacksonville, FL 32256.    Rogero & Williams Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1092339, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on October 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 12808 Quincy Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32224.
