29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on May 21, 2020, when employees are working on a residential roof with a 3:12 pitch at 424 Blairmore Boulevard West, Orange Park,Florida, and are exposed to a 8 feet 6 inches fall hazard to the ground in that they are not attached to a personal fall protection system. ELO Restoration, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1329018, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on March 6, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 397 Bostwick Circle, Saint Johns, FL 32084.
