The employee was not wearing a hard hat and was potentially exposed to overhead struck-by hazards due to dropped tools or lumber scraps.

The employee was not wearing safety glasses and as such was exposed to potential eye injury from flying particles. b) 65 Thomas Dr., Robbinsville, NJ: on or about February 5, 2019 a Navy Contractors employee was using a hand held pneumatic nail gun to install framing lumber. The employee was not wearing safety glasses and as such was exposed to potential eye injury from flying particles.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) 65 Thomas Dr., Robbinsville, NJ: on or about February 5, 2019 a Navy Contractors Inc. employee was conducting framing activities on the front porch roof of a new construction single family residence. The worker was not using any form of fall protection and was exposed to a fall hazard of 12.5 feet to the ground below. Navy Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1300288, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (06/05/2018), with respect to a workplace located at 62 & 64 Wadsworth Avenue, Lakewood, NJ. Navy Contractors Inc. was previously cited for a REPEAT violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1343908, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on (12/03/2018), with respect to a workplace located at Forge Mill, Florence, NJ.
