29 CFR 1926.150(a)(2): Access to all available firefighting equipment was not maintained at all times: Worksite located at 204-210 94th Terrace, Smithville, Missouri- Employees were observed burning scrap wood in a garage area of the building near a gasoline storage can and employees were not protected from fire or explosion hazards by the use of fire extinguishers, which were not accessible to employees on the site.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Worksite located at 204-210 194th Terrace, Smithville, Missouri- Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on unprotected sides and edges as well as walking the top plate on the 2nd level and were not protected from falling by the use of any means of fall protection. The MIK Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1362981, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/14/19, with respect to a workplace located at 194th Terrace, Smithville, Missouri 64089.

29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(8): A metal spreader or locking device was not provided on each stepladder to hold the front and back sections in an open position when the ladder was being used: Worksite located at 204-210 94th Terrace, Smithville, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that a stepladder was being used on the exterior of the 2nd level in which the stepladder was leaned up against the wall and did not have its' metal spreader or locking device engaged.
