29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer does not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) Chanell Roofing & Home Improvement, LLC: The employer does not ensure that employees performing residential roofing work are appropriately trained to recognize fall hazards and follow procedures to protect themselves. This condition was recently observed on or about June 18th, 2019, at the location of 2363 and 2365 Manchester Ln., Avon, OH, 44011, when employees were exposed to fall hazards of 9 feet, 4 inches while performing residential roofing work. Chanell Roofing & Home Improvement, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.503(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1099366, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/22/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 2961 Spring Valley Pike, Miamisburg, OH, 45342.
